Rewards are one of the most important parts of FamilyGO because they are what motivate kids to complete challenges. In FamilyGO there are 4 types of challenges:
1. Screen Time - screen time is a favorite for many kids. If your child uses a device type that supports FamilyGO time control features (currently Android and Fire/Kindle), this rewards will work well for your kids. Children will be able to purchase Screen Time tickets that they can use to get extra screen time. As a parent you offer All Week or Weekend Only reward tickets and you can control how much extra time they can buy per day.
2. Fun Stuff - fun stuff rewards are lower cost items you offer your kids weekly. They are the most common reward type. Kids can buy fun stuff tickets in the store and keep them until you are ready to give them the reward.
3. Big Ticket - big ticket rewards are higher cost items that encourage your child to save for something over a period of time. You can also use this type of reward to have kids pay off a debt, like the cost of a broken window.
4. Cash Allowance - for children old enough to be ready to manage an allowance, FamilyGO supports a unique allowance system that allows children exchange gold coin earnings to withdraw cash tickets from an in game Family Bank ATM. Children can get cash tickets any time during the week, but they can only use them to get cash from you on Pay Day (defaults to Friday). If you want to set a different pay day, go to the Game Master menu, and tap Game Master (Parents).
